Come meet Sandi, “The Bug Lady” and her pet tarantula, Charlotte! “Incredible Insects” will teach you the difference between insects and spiders. This is a real “hands on” program!

Do you love snakes? Ever held a ball python? Reference librarian, Cindy Nanney brings “Elvis and Elvira” for a visit. Joining them will be Simon the Chinchilla. This is a rare chance to interact with these exotic pets!

Firefly Movie Day! Lights out! We’ll watch “A Bug’s Life” and munch on some popcorn!

Brightstar Children’s Theater Presents: Sadie's Spectacular Saturday!' Our favorite Children’s Theater Group will help you “Catch The Reading Bug” with this anti-bullying tale about Sadie the Caterpillar and her “transformation.” Don’t miss this special production!

The July 23rd Summer Reading Program - BrightStar Children's Theater's production of "Spectacular Sadie", will be held at Isothermal Community College auditorium instead of the library.

The reason for this change of venue is the library closing for maintenance from July 21-25.

The performance will take place on Wednesday, July 23 at 2:00 pm in the Isothermal Community College auditorium

Please make a note of this change of time and venue. You won't want to miss this wonderful production

“Carolina Zelnik” sets out to find the elusive Reading Bug! Join children’s entertainer, Greg Zelnik, as he leads us on an adventure of following trails, uncovering clues, reading treasure maps and solving mysteries. Books, storytelling, magic, music, comedy and lots of audience participation will be part of this adventure!
