How You Can Participate
People of all ages in Polk County are encouraged to participate either
as a "storyteller" or as an interviewer ... |
Thanks to a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation, we are now equipped to record veteran's interviews in the library.
The library is a partner in the Library of Congress Veteran's History Project. Our goal is to record a minimum of twenty veteran's stories a year. These will be house in our special collections department and information about each participant will be placed in the Library of Congress Veteran's History Project database.
